Bigfoot’s Kennel is a Colorado-based English Springer Spaniel breeding program dedicated to raising healthy, confident, and well-rounded dogs. Led by Barbara and Madison, our program is built around a genuine love for the breed and a commitment to giving every puppy the strongest possible start in life. We take pride in raising our dogs with hands-on care, individual attention, and the kind of everyday experiences that help prepare them to become exceptional companions.

Our Breeding Philosophy
Our breeding program is centered around health, temperament, structure, and quality of life. We carefully consider each breeding with the goal of producing puppies that are not only beautiful representatives of the English Springer Spaniel, but also capable, confident, and suited for life with their future families. Responsible breeding goes far beyond producing puppies—it means making thoughtful decisions about the dogs we breed, the care they receive, and the homes they ultimately become part of.
How Our Puppies Are Raised
Every Bigfoot’s Kennel puppy is raised with purposeful socialization and regular hands-on interaction from an early age. Our puppies are introduced to a variety of people, sounds, surfaces, environments, animals, car rides, and everyday experiences designed to help build confidence and adaptability. We also begin establishing important foundations that can make the transition into a new home easier. Our goal is to send each puppy home prepared to continue learning, exploring, and developing into a confident adult dog.
Health and Responsible Breeding
The health of our dogs and puppies is one of the most important parts of our breeding program. Our breeding dogs undergo health and genetic testing appropriate for the English Springer Spaniel breed, and our puppies receive veterinary care before leaving for their new homes. Puppies are provided with age-appropriate vaccinations and deworming, veterinary records, and microchipping. We believe responsible breeding starts with informed decisions and continues with transparency, proper care, and a long-term commitment to the dogs we produce.
